If the bra (doesn't) fit(s)...

Okay. I'm kind of a bra snob. The big-basher brand, VS, has been my best fit for years. I'm now trying new places, that aren't asking for a fortune (now that I've started my own company, I've started cutting back on things I'd usually be game for). $50 for a bra is a lot to me now when I'm trying to pay for advertising and insurance, etc. But! Its something that has just got to fit, or its just a squirmy-fidgeted day everyone near me!

I have certain specifications. I can't go wireless... that is just freaky to me. Why even wear a bra if you've got zero support? I like some push up, I'm small cupped, so the more pump the better! I've gotten better about requiring this VS brand for the strap bras. Strapless is another story.

As for strapless, my attempts to change haven't been as good. I've tried a few brands, and their cup sizes are so far off even I'm bulging out! I can't find a bra that does as well as VS's Ipex. I love everything about this bra. The water inserts for pump, the lack of sticky weird plastic tapey stuff that most brands use to keep their bras in place are big sellers for me.

Euh, it makes me hate myself for needing this corporation's bra. I've held out through two semi-annual VS sales to not make the purchase... but with the amount of wear my nude strapless bras get in the summer (I wear a lot of dresses), I just can't go much longer. Its literally slipping down while its on me. I'm on my last nerve with it. I can't be holding my bra up when I'm wearing a princess gown entertaining a bunch of little princesses! That's just improper etiquette! And really trashy...

I have dreamed that there may be a way to just take in the bra. Like, tailor it, you know? I mean, you can make your flare jeans skinny, why can't you take in a bra? I just found this great article called, Altering Ready-to-wear! I'm headed to the sewing machine right now! I'll let you know how it goes.

If your bra is on its... last leg, then here's some places you might need to try.
