OPI Nail Polish: Pretty, but Linked to Cancer

This is by no means new news... well, maybe it is to some of you. And even though they're evil, OPI has some rockin' color names. My personal favorite, "I'm Not Really A Waitress" is blood red.

This is actually false. OPI eliminated harsh chemicals years ago. They also do not test on animals and encourage recycling amongst their distributors. The following statement is on their website under OPI CARES:

Since 2006, OPI has reformulated its entire line of Nail Lacquers, Nail Treatments, and Nail Hardeners to eliminate DBP (dibutyl phthalate) and Toluene.

Well thank goodness they have done something. Hopefully more companies will follow suit.

I have to say, the last time I tried the polish, and this was in June... it took about 3 weeks to come off my nails completely, that in itself gives me the creeps.
